Baby School: Bb Is For Ball!

Nov 2013 Week 2 (11 Nov - 17 Nov)

Salam and Good Day u ols.

For this week activity, i'm still referring and using printables and information from 1+1+1=1.

Note: This is a very long post!

Letter of the Week = Bb

Object of the Week = Ball

Colour of the Week = Green

Vocabulary Development Theme of the Week = Outdoor Fun

I gathered his balls put them together so he can play with the balls. This no big letter 'B'. I didnt bought it :D. For tot trays, i maintained the inserting coins only from previous week. Others, i changed to pouring from cup to cup and transfering from bowl to bowl.

He played all the tot trays and after that as usual messing time! He loves to throw the pom pom balls to us.

Reading with Tag Junior
For reading, we usually use this Tag Junior or i read books together with him. This time, we used Tag Junior for reading. First, i took the ABC flashcards and he uses the Tag device to point each card. After that, we read the books.

Here's his video reading using Tag Junior. I managed to capture this time. He didnt notice :D

Main Letter Sheet
I guided him to trace letter B using Crayola Washable Marker in Green.

His video doodling the Main Letter Sheet.

Find the Balls Sheet
This sheet also i guided him to find from one ball to another ball to make 'B' letter. After that, he scribbled the sheet.

Dot Paint the Balls Sheet
Since we still dont have the Do-A-Dot Marker type, we used the same method as the above to make him familiar with this kind of activity though he still did not understand. I think i will repeat all over again when we finish all 26 letters.

What Starts with Bb? Sheet
For this sheet, he managed to tell me all the objects in the paper and scribbled at the same time.

His video scribbling and doodling.

Dot Paint the Letter Sheet
We circled the letters together since first dont have the needed marker and second he still did not know how to circle the letters. Never mind baby. Practice makes perfect!

Stamp the Letter Sheet
We used Melissa & Doug letter stamper for this activity. Still needed me to guide him to stamp properly.

Tot Tray Activity: Inserting Coins
This activity, he's an expert! We just take out the coins and he inserted himself one by one until finish. And he repeated few times.

Number 1-10 Sheet
This time, i use the wooden numbers for him to recognize numbers. Currently, he managed to pronounce number from 1 to 10 perfectly but he did not really know the shape of the numbers. So, i had to guide him one by one. But, he managed to put correctly! Smart boy!

Balls Shapes Sheet
This time, he took the sheet himself and showed to me he wanted to do shapes. I still missing one shape. He was very interested to play with. He put the shape according to the shape in the sheet correctly. He did this activity many times. He loved it so much.

Connect the Apples Sheet
This one, i had to trace together with him from left to right. And he managed to trace back correctly this time though not really a straight line.

Vocabulary Development sheet
I only said out loud to hime the objects and he scribbled the objects. I think have to change the way of this activity. Any idea?

Lacing the Ball
Again, i DIYed the lacing card. He was still not really interested in this activity. I guided him many times. He managed to lace the ball halfway and played the card himself. Never mind, try again next time.

3-piece Ball Puzzle
I showed him how to sort the puzzle. This time, he was not focus and became so playful. He did for a while, then he threw them away.

Sequencing card
Again, I did not cut the number separately. I showed him the numbers and sequence, then he repeated me.

Shadow Matching Cards
I put the shadow cards first and then i gave him the coloured cards to match with the shadows cards. I had to guide him then he scribbled the cards and the table.

Other activity we did was learning using Baby Khalifah Series. This time, i left Colored Balls Sheet only because i have a feeling that he's not ready yet for coloring.

Next will be letter Cc. Stay tune!

Enjoice!
