20 years ago the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) launched its first World Breastfeeding Week campaign, the "Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative." 20 years later, they celebrate and look back, to plan even more worldwide actions for breastfeeding women, infants and young children, to support optimal feeding and care, and to help reduce malnutrition as well as poverty.
