Half Way To Go ;)

Alhamdulillah, I've already reached half way of my pregnancy journey. So far ok la. Better than my frist trimester. Long and dramatic first trimester.

Actually I'm in week 21 or 20 weeks++. About my baby progress.

How your baby's growing

Your baby's putting on weight now and has turned into a slippery little thing - a greasy white substance called vernix caseosa coats the entire body to protect the skin during its long submersion in amniotic fluid. Some babies are still covered with this whitish goo when they're born.

Your baby measures about 6.5 inches/ 16.5 centimeters from crown to rump and is steadily gaining weight. A whitish coat of a slick, fatty substance called vernix caseosa begins to cover your baby and protects the skin during its long immersion in amniotic fluid. It also eases delivery. The baby's swallowing more this week, good practice for the digestive system. After your baby takes in amniotic fluid, his body absorbs the water in the liquid and moves the rest into the large bowel.

I'm happy to see the progress. As of now I already can feel the kicking, the sommersault..sometimes I feel like kene belasah from inside...hahaha

And about me.....

How your life's changing
Out of breath? Most women start to feel a bit like Thomas the Tank Engine, huffing and puffing up a short flight of stairs. Some breathlessness is normal and may get a little worse as your expanding uterus pushes up against your lungs, but tell your doctor if it gets out of hand. Also, make sure you're getting enough iron. Your baby needs it to make red blood cells, among other things. It's almost impossible to get too much from food alone, as long as you're not overeating. Iron-rich foods include lean red meat, poultry, fish, lentils, spinach and iron-fortified cereals. Don't take supplements though, unless they're prescribed by your doctor.

Although pregnancy might sometimes feel like a one-woman show, it doesn't have to be that way. If your husband is going to be your labour partner, he'll want to know how he can help and how he can communicate your wishes to the professionals.

Yeahh...totally feel the breathlessness..especially when my baby does the kick boxing training...and during sleeping time...

About the gender....we've already known the gender since week 14. Based on the Chinese calendar the baby should be GIRL but the prediction is totally wrong!

My baby is baby BOY! That's why he keeps on kicking like football training. :D

Okla....nanti la sambung story mory k.

Enjoice!
