Well Gated & Guarded with sufficient facilities

At first, we plan to move out to rent a landed terrace house. We searched around Bdr Kinrara area but most of the houses are already tenanted. Left with only not so well-maintained houses.

Through internet searching, we found a newly completed house at BK9 with a rental fee of RM1100!! The house are equipped with an alarm system and auto-gate. Inside, empty. I've always thought the house comes with a kitchen cabinet, but it turns out to be another house that is already tenanted. So, both my husband and i asked my aunt and my mom and they advise it's better to buy our own house rather than renting and pay so high. In the end, we own nothing. Just, top up a few hundreds and we can get our own asset.

So, we discuss and decided to buy a house. But, where?? how much?? how about the loan? and other things? We searched thru the internet and found a few options that can be considered. So, last Saturday, we went to I&P property gallery office at BK. Unfortunately, they were only left with expensive houses such as semi-dees and bungalows. All the affordable houses have already been sold out or booked. So, we head to Paramount Gallery Office in Kota Kemuning.

Lucky us, there are still some affordable houses left and the best part is my FIL has a friend working there. So, this makes it easier for us to book the house and get more $$$ discount!!!! Right after that, we went to see the fully-furnished showhouse and it's definitely look like heaven ok!!! We really wished that the furnished showhouse is for sale...because the real house was really basic and to get "our new house" to be as beautiful as the showhouse unit, you have to spend At LEAST..1/3 of your total house price ok!!! I rather pay more on the show unit cos I dont have to think to re-design and renovate. Unfortunately, the developer will only release the showhouse for sale in two years time at market price. I guess we have to start saving now for the house renovation after all..

Other than the contemporary designs, the location also is nice, well-guarded and strategic. Although a bit far from KL, but hey...as long as the place is comfortable to live, other things don't matter rite!!!

"Our house" will be completed by End of 2010.. still far ahead. Lucky us, we should be able to use the LKSA highway which is now still under consruction by then.

Yet another good news for Malaysian... drivers and passangers especially..



Anyone who has been penalized/summon for not wearing rear-seatbelt can go to the nearest respective authority's office to cancel your sommons.

From now onwards, car owners who have not yet installed the fifth passanger rear-seatbelt will not be penalized. They will be given sufficient time "until 31 December 2011" to install it. Three years dude..

Well honestly, i'm quite confused, the statement does not tell whether cars with ready-installed fifth passanger rear-seatbelt will be effected or not...and also what happen if you have the two existing passanger rear-seatbelt.. ??.Worst case.. temporatily dismantel the belt la.. haha

KUALA LUMPUR: Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) dan polis bersetuju membatalkan saman yang dikeluarkan bagi kenderaan persendirian yang belum memasang tali pinggang keledar di tempat duduk belakang selepas peraturan memakainya berkuat kuasa 1 Januari lalu.

Ketua Pengarah JPJ, Datuk Solah Mat Hassan, berkata berikutan penyelarasan itu, pemilik, pemandu serta penumpang yang disaman boleh membuat pembatalan di agensi penguat kuasa yang mengeluarkannya.

"Masalah 'tersaman' bagi kes kenderaan yang belum memasang tali pinggang keledar di tempat duduk belakang berlaku hanya dalam tempoh satu atau dua minggu pertama peraturan baru ini dikuatkuasakan.

"Bagaimanapun, JPJ tidak 'tersaman' dalam perkara ini. Sebaliknya, kami 'sengaja' menyaman mereka yang tidak memakai tali pinggang keledar belakang walaupun kenderaan itu sudah dilengkapi kemudahan berkenaan," katanya ketika dihubungi di sini, semalam.

Akhbar baru-baru ini melaporkan, kerajaan bersetuju mengkaji semula pembatalan saman terhadap pemilik, pemandu dan penumpang kenderaan persendirian yang belum ada tali pinggang keledar belakang.

Solah berkata, semua pemilik kenderaan persendirian yang belum memiliki tali pinggang keledar belakang diberi tempoh tiga tahun sehingga 31 Disember 2011 untuk memasangnya sebelum penguatkuasaan penuh dilaksanakan mulai 1 Januari 2012.

Sehingga 10 Februari lalu, JPJ sudah mengeluarkan 7,309 saman bagi kes tidak memakai tali pinggang keledar belakang di seluruh negara, katanya.

Sementara itu ketika ditemui pada perasmian Pejabat JPJ cawangan Jempol, di Bandar Sri Jempol, Negeri Sembilan, Solah berkata, analisis yang dilakukan terhadap Ops Sikap XIX sempena Tahun Baru Cina, mendapati 71.9 peratus kematian membabitkan golongan ini dan Pengarah JPJ negeri diarah mengadakan lebih banyak rondaan dan sekatan jalan raya.

I guess this is a useful entry to everyone. This calender can be handy when you have doubts whether your state celebrate certain holidays that other states celebrates.

For example, From what i know, Wilayah Persekutuan did not acknowledge Thaipusam as a state public holiday before..but in the 2009 state public holiday..we do..Hoo-Rey.

I'll let you guys look for yourself..

Good news to all Malaysian Passport Holders..

Starting NEXT WEEK, Malaysian passport holders can check online http://www.imi.gov.my/ their status whether they are allowed to travel outside Malaysia. Up until today, passport holders can ONLY know that they are forbidden to leave the country when they were stopped at the airport's immigration OR if they do early status check-up at the imigration's office. By having this system, travellers can actually safe-plan their journey without having to worry that their journey has to be cancelled at the very last minute.
